IBF Awards 2025

The nomination process for IBF Awards 2025 has begun. The award categories, relevant criteria and nomination forms are found below.

Nominations for IBF Distinguished Fellow and IBF Fellow will close on 31 March 2025. Nominations for the IBF Inspire and IBF Advance awards will close on 30 June 2025.

IBF Award Categories

IBF Distinguished Fellow

Eligibility and Evaluation Criteria
The "IBF Distinguished Fellow" is a prestigious title conferred upon industry captains and leaders who are the epitome of professional stature, integrity, and achievement. The Distinguished Fellows serve as a beacon of excellence for the industry.

Eligibility and Evaluation Criteria:

  • C-Suite Senior Management (e.g. CEO, CFO, COO etc); or
  • Member of a financial institution's Group Executive Committee or equivalent; or
  • Chairman or President of an Industry Association or Industry Committee; or
  • IBF Fellow
  • At least 15 years of financial services industry or relevant experience, and based in Singapore
  • Demonstrated high level of professional competencies and outstanding leadership capabilities running strategically important functions, sizeable organisations or financial sector industry associations
  • Strong recognition from industry peers
  • Significant contribution to the financial sector with notable outcomes or significant positive impact to support the growth and development of the nominated financial services industry segment
  • Display outstanding work ethics and a high level of integrity as a financial sector senior professional

IBF Fellow

Eligibility and Evaluation Criteria
The "IBF Fellow" is a title conferred upon industry specialists and veterans who have demonstrated mastery of a profession and exemplify thought leadership and commitment to industry development.

Eligibility and Evaluation Criteria

  • Business Heads or Specialists
  • At least 15 years of financial services industry or relevant experience, and based in Singapore
  • Demonstrated professional competencies and possess significant leadership experience in a business function or specific domain of specialisation
  • Significant contribution to the financial sector with notable outcomes or significant positive impact to support the growth and development of the nominated financial services industry segment
  • Display outstanding work ethics and a high level of integrity as a financial sector senior professional

IBF Inspire Award

Eligibility and Evaluation Criteria

The IBF Inspire Award recognises financial institutions that have demonstrated significant achievements and holistic commitments in skills development and workforce development across the organisation.

Eligibility and Evaluation Criteria

Applicants should be a financial institution regulated by the MAS and will be assessed based on the following:

  • Strong on-going organisation-wide strategy and commitment to workforce transformation, talent pipeline building and skills development (including non-IBF initiatives)
  • Significant commitment demonstrated in skills development and workforce development efforts

IBF Advance Award

Eligibility and Evaluation Criteria

This award recognises financial institutions that have shown good progress in skills development and/or workforce development across their organisation.

A financial institution can be recognised for the IBF Advance Award under two tracks including the IBF Advance (Skills Development) or the IBF Advance (Workforce Development) Award. 

 

 

 

Eligibility and Evaluation Criteria

Applicants should be a financial institution regulated by the MAS and will be assessed based on the following:

  • Demonstrated good progress in implementing organisation-wide strategy and commitment to skills development and/ or workforce development 
  • Growing commitment demonstrated in skills development and workforce development
