Biography

Ng Lee Peng is the Managing Director and Head of Digital Business for Global Consumer Financial Services, OCBC. With over 19 years of experience in the Banking sector, she has extensive knowledge of – and deep expertise in – the digital banking space; she spearheads the delivery of digital initiatives across Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) as well as Internet and Mobile Banking at OCBC Group.

As the co-chair of SGFinDex phase 1, Lee Peng was instrumental in shaping and launching Singapore Open Banking, which became the base platform for all subsequent parties to plug into. An active participant in several industry-wide payments and anti-scam initiatives, she launched eGIRO, PayNow-DuitNow, PayNow-QRIS and OCBC MoneyLock among notable recent successes. She is currently the co-lead for FIDO, a new anti-scam initiative.
Blending her domain knowledge with a profound belief in customer centricity, Lee Peng constantly pushes her teams to maximise the synergies between digital technologies and a razor-sharp focus on optimising customer experience. Under her leadership, these teams are in turn blazing new trails and have achieved significant breakthroughs in the digital banking space.
