Lee Tze Tze

Biography

Lee Tze Tze heads up the Product and Propositions team in HSBC Global Trade Solutions business in Singapore. In her role, Tze Tze is responsible for the product management and implementation of documentary trade, receivables finance, supply chain finance, commodity finance, digital channels as well as trade innovation and digitalisation.

Since 2023, Tze Tze has also taken on the role of Global Head of Documentary Trade, overseeing the trade finance business in 50 markets.

Leveraging on her wealth of knowledge in trade finance and digitalisation, Tze Tze represented HSBC in shaping and co-creating industry best practices for Singapore.

Most notably, Tze Tze has worked with the Singapore Government and fellow pioneer banks in developing eGuarantees, which was launched in 2022. Tze Tze was also a key contributor in the development of the Green and Sustainable Trade & Working Capital Framework where HSBC co-leads the MAS-FCAP’s Green Finance Industry Taskforce. In addition, Tze Tze contributed to the development of the ABS Code of Best Practices for Commodity Financing which was introduced in November 2020. Both frameworks were adopted widely in Singapore. In addition, Tze Tze is an active contributing member in the ABS Digitalisation Standing Committee - Trade Pillar, a role she has undertaken since 2021.

Tze Tze has over 30 years of experience in banking and has spent the last 20 years in transaction banking specializing in trade finance, supply chain financing, cash management and digitalisation. She graduated from Nanyang Technological University with a BA (Honours) in Accountancy.
