Biography

Shui Wei Ho is the Market Head for Thailand, Japan and Asia Switzerland at Julius Baer overseeing multiple Group Heads. She is concurrently on the Board of Directors for SCB-Julius Baer Securities Co. Ltd. in Thailand as well as Julius Baer Nomura Wealth Management Ltd in Japan. An industry veteran with over 25 years of banking experience, she leads teams across various locations to provide comprehensive, holistic investment solutions to clients.


Shui Wei joined Julius Baer in 2022 as Group Head South East Asia, bringing with her a wealth of expertise in client relationship management, investment portfolio management, and wealth creation. Her skills and experience have propelled her to her current leadership position.

At Julius Baer, she spearheaded and supported SCB-Julius Baer, leading it to be named Best International Private Bank in Thailand by Asian Private Banker in 2022 and 2023.

As a member of IBF Private Banking and Family Office Workgroup, Shui Wei is influential in shaping the future of the financial industry by providing key insights on topics including skills development, certification, and workforce development. She is also a member of CACS Examination Board where she supported the revamp of the CACS exams in 2024, enhancing the examination's relevance and rigour.

Before joining Julius Baer, Shui Wei was integral to Bank of Singapore both in leading teams of Relationship Managers covering Thailand and Indochina markets, and in the trading room, where she led multiple Investment Products businesses including Money Markets, Fixed Income and Foreign Exchange. Prior to Julius Baer, she held senior positions at UBS Investment Bank, UBS Wealth Management and served a decade at Monetary Authority of Singapore, managing the nation's reserves and contributing to policy and regulation. Her career spans the global financial centres of London, Switzerland and Singapore, deepening her understanding of the international financial landscape.

Shui Wei graduated with a Bachelor's degree with Honours in Business from Nanyang Technological University of Singapore. She is also a CFA charter holder.
